Community Guidelines

astr matches people through their charts. That only works if the community stays honest, respectful, and safe. These guidelines apply to every user, on every part of the Service, at all times. Breaking them can cost you your account without warning or refund.

• Use accurate birth data. If you fake your birth date or time, your entire chart is wrong and you waste other users' time. This is grounds for removal.
• Use recent photos of yourself. No models, no celebrities, no filters that materially change your appearance.
• One account per person. If you get banned, do not create a new account. We will find it and ban it too.
• Do not impersonate anyone. Not a real person, not a fictional character, not another user.

You must be 18 or older. If you are under 18, do not create an account. If we discover a minor on the platform, we delete the account immediately and report to authorities where legally required. If you suspect a minor is using astr, report the account.

Zero tolerance for:

• Harassment, threats, or intimidation of any kind.
• Hate speech or slurs based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
• Stalking or persistent unwanted contact after someone has stopped responding.
• Doxxing (sharing another person's private info without consent).
• Sending unsolicited sexual content.
• Manipulation, coercion, or emotional abuse.

• No nude, sexually explicit, or shirtless-for-shock-value photos.
• No photos of violence, weapons displayed threateningly, or gore.
• No drug paraphernalia or content promoting illegal drug use.
• No content involving minors, even fully clothed and non-sexual, unless clearly a family photo where you are the adult.

• No soliciting money, gifts, cryptocurrency, or investment opportunities.
• No promoting OnlyFans, escort services, or paid content of any kind.
• No promoting external products, services, or MLM schemes in your profile or messages.
• No spam. This includes copy-pasted opening lines sent to dozens of matches.

• No scraping, crawling, or automated access.
• No bypassing paywalls, rate limits, or account bans.
• No exploiting bugs; report them to trust@astr.love.

astr does not conduct background checks. Take normal precautions before meeting anyone in person:

• Meet in a public place for the first time.
• Tell a friend where you are going and who you are meeting.
• Arrange your own transportation.
• Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, leave.

If a user threatens or assaults you online or off, report them to us AND to local law enforcement.

Tap the “Report” option on any profile or message thread, or email trust@astr.love. We review every report. Depending on severity, we may:

• Send a warning.
• Remove offending content.
• Suspend the account temporarily.
• Terminate the account permanently, without refund.
• Ban the underlying device or IP.
• Report to law enforcement where the conduct is illegal.

For serious violations (threats, minors, weapons, non-consensual imagery), we act immediately and without appeal.

If you believe your account was suspended in error, email trust@astr.love from the address on the account. We will review and respond within 5 business days.
